In 2020, a research team completed an experiment on hawksbill turtle hatchlings, in which one hatchling was found to have 42 pieces of plastic in its digestive tract.
All These Facts may seem unreal, but I am afraid to say that they are reality. Many people know that plastics are found in abundance in our oceans, but we fail to realize what that truly indicates.
It doesn't mean that our oceans simply look horrible and polluted, while that is in fact true, but it has more dire consequences which can impact the health of all marine creatures and animals which depend on water to survive including humans!
This is why I am taking time out of my day to do what I love, which is writing stories in an effort to raise money to keep plastics out of our oceans.
I hope you as well can join the effort by donating money to Greenpeace, to keep our oceans clean because at the end of the day the people who depend on our oceans are ourselves.
